For our first attempt at developing a Social Networking application, we decided to build something that embodies what we see as three key ingredients of a successful application: competition, collecting, and entertainment.
Scratch and Win is the first lottery-style scratch ticket game for Facebook. The tickets are animated and look just like real scratch-offs, but you buy and scratch them (or send them to your friends as a gift) all within Facebook. Players initially receive 10 free tickets a day. Winning tickets reward the users with tokens that are redeemable for collectible images.
